Hi Pauline,I was wondering if you could send out a special request. My classmate Patti Turi is now fighting her second battle with mesothelioma. The 5th annual Kayaking for Meso fundraising event will be held on Sept 12. Participants kayak on the Hudson from Stillwater to Halfmoon. This is a link to the website. http://www.kayaking4meso.org/index.html

It would be great if we could get some alumni to participate or even just attend and watch. Patti has kayaked in all previous years but won’t be able to this year as she’ll be starting chemo soon.

(Permission has been given to put Patti’s email here tuript@yahoo.com )

Please keep Patti in your prayers.

Brad Cone CCS class of 2002
It’s getting to be that time of year again where the Cambridge Lions are gearing up for our annual scholarship golf scramble Sept 26th. The money we raise from the tournament is used for our “Civic-Minded Senior” scholarship that we give to two graduating CCS students who have shown a dedication to community service. Thanks to the tournament over the last couple years, we’ve been able to increase from one $250 award to two $500 awards (and we hope to eventually give even more)!

The press release and entry form in on the web site. www.ccsindians.com For alumni still in the general area, this is a great event for a great cause and a perfect excuse to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon on a golf course!!

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to sign up. Thanks so much for your help!!
