Dear CCS Alumni and Friends:
Class reunions: Don’t forget the ALL Class Reunion. The dates are July 17, 18 & 19th. The signup sheet for the all class reunion is attached along with the info sheet. Please please please consider attending.
From George Taylor- “My class of 1956 is celebrating our 70th anniversary. Hopefully, someone that has been closer to Cambridge and class activities than me will provide some news from our classmates”
New Website: Reminder that we are still accepting your comments on what you would like for the new website.
Thank you to those who wrote in to comment on the Lance Allen Wang article about Frank Ludwick.
Some of the comments. “Good write up on frank, keep up the good work”,
From Lin Moore: “I really enjoyed reading the interview with Frank. It shed some light on the Vietnam war. He graduated with my brother Jon and I graduated in 67. It always was a fear of our men being drafted into that war.”

Looking for your ancestors?
We’ve recently updated the Woodlands Cemetery interment records and made them searchable online.
There is a link on the page to the Woodlands Cemetery “official website”. From there, you can view history of the cemetery back to its creation in 1858. There’s a map showing the sections of the cemetery. So once you find your ancestors using the above search, you can locate them in the cemetery.
There is also a link on the official website where you can make a donation to help us maintain and preserve your family history.
Memorial Day is always a great time to stop by the cemetery. The week before you’re sure to see Gerald Aiken caring for the Cambridge Fire Department markers next to the gravestones of former members as well as the American Legion members caring for the sites of veterans.
- Thank you for sharing this Ken. It is interesting and valuable information. As someone who fulfills requests of photos from Find A Grave, I know that I will be using this link quite a bit.

Here’s a photo of the CCS Class of 1951, the first class to graduate from the New School. Senior trips to Washington DC ended with the Class of 1962.

Thank you to all who have contacted me with comments and suggestions. Please keep them coming!
