Dorothy M. Woodcock – CCS-Indians

College / schools: in Bennington. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Ann Waite. Dorothy is survived by her husband, John Waite; son, Frank Waite (Brittany) and granddaughter, Aubrie; her stepmother, Karen Woodcock; sister, Rebecca Benoit; and stepsisters, Teresa Saunders and Patricia Anderson. She also leaves behind her adored dog, Maggie. She loved sewing, knitting socks and hats, and baking. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Prior to her illness she was employed at Pleasant Valley Infirmary, and the R. John Wright Doll Company. To honor Dorothy’s request, there will be no services, in her words, “If they couldn’t come to see me when I was alive, they don’t need to see me when I’m dead.” At her family’s request, a Celebration of life will be held October 7, 2018 from 2 to 4PM at the Shushan United Presbyterian Church with Rev Carol Finke.
