- I really loved baton twirling. When I see our class kindergarten picture of me in costume with my baton, I hardly think that is me. But I do recall marching and twirling in the parades as a teenager. I was very proud to be able to lead the wonderful high school band. I marched with several drum and bugle corps in my youth but our band was always my favorite.
