Memories: of her crafting skills. Vera retired as Christian Education Director at the First Presbyterian Church in Rome in 1995. She continued teaching Bible study classes and remained active in other ministries throughout her retirement. Vera had an unwavering faith in God, and her faith only grew stronger in her final years of life. Vera’s selfless devotion to others will be greatly missed, and her family is grateful for all the support and love shown to her from her friends in Rome and throughout the First Presbyterian Church community. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Barry and his wife Suzanne. She is survived by sons David (MaryEllen) Noxon and Douglas (Christine) Noxon; three grandchildren, Alexa Noxon, Noah (Amy) Noxon and Elizabeth (Matthew) Vannoy; brother Carl (Joanne) Wulff, and many nieces and nephews.
